The role of our Activity Department is to maximize physical and cognitive abilities and provide social interaction. It is overseen by a caring and qualified staff whose goal is to develop activities that keep residents interested, motivated, involved and challenged. Social, recreational, spiritual, educational and intellectual activities are offered, including bingo, movies, games, musical events, arts and crafts, ice cream socials and special holiday celebrations. Catholic service led by a priest, weekly communion service, Bible Study and other spiritual services are a part of life at Christopher House. For those interested and able, we offer monthly Bus Trips to various locations. Activities are always supervised and residents participate at their own level of interest to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences.
