Sandy received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of California at Davis, and her Masters of Health Care Administration from Clark University in Worcester. She has worked as an Administrator in Skilled Nursing Centers for more than 20 years in and around Central Massachusetts.
Maria Theresa (Tess) Villegas, BSN, RN
Director of Nursing
Tess was graduated from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines as a BSN, and worked in various positions in acute care organizations, before coming to the United States, and Christopher House in 2009. More recently she worked as the Evening shift Supervisor and Assistant Director of Nursing before becoming the Director of Nursing. Tess has been an adjunct faculty member of the Montachusett Regional Vocational Practical Nursing program since 2011.
Chidimma Okoli, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Chidimma Okoli is an internist in Worcester, Massachusetts who specializes in geriatric medicine. She is affiliated with UMass Memorial Medical Center. She received her medical degree from University of Nigeria Faculty of Medicine in 2004.
Bessie Hazard, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Hazard was graduated from Howard University, College of Medicine, Washington D.C., and is a Board Certified Geriatrician. She is a lifelong resident of Worcester, and specializes in the care and rehabilitation of individuals in post-acute and long-term care settings.
Bassem Hanna, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Bassem G. Hanna is a family medicine doctor with a practice in West Boylston, Massachusetts. He is affiliated with UMass Memorial Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in 1993.
Pam Stewart, RPT
Director of Rehabilitation
Pam received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden CT. Before joining Christopher House, she worked at Fairlawn Rehab Hospital and in other Post-Acute facilities. She became the Director of Rehabilitation at Christopher House in 2003.
Cathy Chanthoboury, RRT
Cathy graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 2017 as a registered respiratory therapist. She joined the Christopher House team in 2015 as a respiratory tech and in 2020 became the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
